
There are many reasons for people to base a gap year adventure around the Australian Outback, according to one expert.
Brooke Schoenman, travel writer for WhyGo Australia, explained that this part of a trip Down Under presents people with "a very large place" to explore.
She also advised that individuals do not miss out on the opportunity to explore the small towns which are found within the Outback, as they "give visitors a sense of size and a feeling of being in the middle of nowhere".
"Of course, no stop in Australia's outback is really complete without visiting the aboriginal sacred site of Uluru in the Northern Territory," Ms Schoenman went on to note.
Recently, Jemma Davies, of MJD Education, told the Independent that students in the UK have alternative choices to paying high tuition fees and continuing with their education.
She acknowledged that overseas study are "common place" across the globe and allows Brits to enjoy expanding their knowledge in fresh climates.
