International Academy

International Academy offer ski & snowboard instructor training courses at some of the world's best ski resorts such as Whistler Blackcomb and Lake Louise in Canada and Verbier in Switzerland, which lead to internationally recognised instructor qualifications. Sailing, diving and surf instructor / development courses are also available.

International Academy offer 3 to 12 week ski and snowboard instructor training courses in Canada, France, Switzerland and New Zealand. You can experience world class resorts, receive the top instructor training from the best coaches, develop your own technical and teaching skills, and gain recognised CSIA, CASI, BASI or NZSIA instructor qualifications.

Courses operate throughout the year including 10 week programmes in New Zealand which run from July through to September. This programme is perfect for students looking for something exciting to do over the summer.

The courses are ideally suited to people looking for a valuable and "fun" gap year experience to those looking for a career break into the snow sports industry or new direction in life.

If you successfully complete an early season Level 2 ski programme starting in November, International Academy can offer paid work placements through SkiBound at a European resort during the busy February Half Term & Easter holidays.

Our 3 to 12 week programmes include top level instructor training provided through the instructors in the resorts and we are proud to have an excellent pass rate. The courses also include video analysis and feedback, theory sessions, shadowing instructors / work experience, National Governing Body manuals / materials, examination fee(s), services of a course co-ordinator, social activities and lots, lots more.

You must be able to demonstrate safe skiing or riding skills on intermediate terrain to do a course. Prices range from £2550 for 3 week courses in Whistler Blackcomb and from £6950 for 11 week courses in Banff / Lake Louise.
