Yamnuska Mountain Adventures is Canada's premier mountain skills and experience organization.  In business since 1977, Yamnuska is home to Canada's best mountain guides and instructors.  We specialize in Mountaineering, Rock Climbing, Ice Climbing, Ski Touring, Trekking and Avalanche education for beginner to expert level guests.  Our Three Month Mountain Skills and Leadership Semester based in Canmore, Alberta, Canada is a world renowned program that gives participants the skills and experiences for safe mountain travel and leadership.   We arrange your accommodations for the whole trip and provide all meals when you are out in the field.  Your instructors are all certified by the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides (an IFMGA approved certification) and are very experienced in the Canadian Rockies.  Join us for this amazing program with start dates in March (Spring Semester) and September (Fall Semester).

In addition to our Mountain Semester Program, we run programs that range in duration from a weekend to a week.
